DesignACruise.com of Cruise Planners reported today that Carnival Cruise Lines will operate a record 57 "Fun Ship" departures from New York next year a 250 percent increase over just five years ago. The line's 2004 schedule from New York includes a new seven-day round-trip Port Canaveral/Orlando and The Bahamas cruise program on the new 2,124-passenger Carnival Miracle; four- and five-day Canada and seven-day "fall foliage" voyages on the 2,758-passenger Carnival Victory; and eight-day Caribbean sailings on the 2,124-passenger Carnival Legend. Carnival Legend will also operate a special one-time Bermuda/New England cruise.
